Cape Point Nature Reserve was declared a conservation area in 1938 and incorporated into the peninsula-spanning Table Mountain National Park in 1998. Situated in a city of more than 3 million people and on a peninsula world-famous for its unique flora and fauna and spectacular scenery, the nature reserve is unique worldwide.
